Kink and intersectionality are topics that are often spoken about separately from each other or on a more theoretical basis while trying to understand systemic oppression. Only rarely is the opportunity given to go into the nuance of the idea of how intersectionality affects our kinks and vice versa. Caritia aims to offer space for participants to dig a little deeper into how intersectionality affects who we decide we wish to relate to, how we decide to relate to them and why some topics of kink are too challenging to dive into. This discussion and lab are aimed at anyone who wishes to understand more about their own kinks, the oppressive nature of society’s rules, and to have more freedom to express one’s desires, wants, and needs in kink and ultimately in life.
