In tantra, we work with the polarities of Yin & Yang or penetrative and receptive energies. However, it has been said that true enlightenment is when you find the INNER UNION between these polarities within you. For MANY the idea remains that 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞. In this way we tend to identify with one over the other which can for some create an inner fragmentation leaving us trying to fit into gender roles that in the end just leave us disconnected from ourselves and our true potential. To welcome all that we are, we go beyond the binary and experiment with how these complimentary polarities can play out in all bodies independently of gender and sexual orientation. 𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐱𝐞𝐬, 𝐰𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲. This will be a space for the parts of us that have not been safe to be felt, owned, expressed, explored, or shared. When not welcomed, these powers often become reactive and destructive instead of being used to enhance our lives. As we bring our shadows into light there is space for healing and integration.
