THE SURRENDER EXPERIMENT CONSCIOUS ROPE A WEEKEND RETREAT Warmly welcome to a weekend retreat of deep connection and dance with ropes in the wonderful Soul house, on the Danish countryside just 1 hour drive from Malmö/ Copenhagen. 3 DAYS OF checking out from the normal checking in with yourself creating deep connections developing your rope skills deepening your ability express your boundaries exploring surrender I use the ropes as a tool, as an extension of my arms to hold you closer, to hold you with more depth. During a rope session we create a dance together. A dance in deep connection. You may experiment with surrendering into the space held by your partner. How deeply do you desire to trust? What happens to you when you surrender into the arms that hold you? When we play together, we create a beautiful dance between people. It is an opportunity to surrender to what emerges in the moment in the connection that is created between two humans. All of you is welcome here! All expressions and all emotions, from tenderness to play, relaxation, anger, grief and sensuality. WHO IS IT FOR You can sign up alone or together with a partner, lover or friend that you feel comfortable sharing intimacy with. We will practice together and with each other, meaning we will change partners and meet people of all genders. It is therefore good if you feel comfortable being physically close to new people of mixed genders and feel some confidence in taking care of your own basic boundaries. We will also actively work on creating a safe space and to practice asking ourselves what we want and not, and communicate this. The weekend is for everyone, from beginners, who have tied a little before, or those who have no earlier experience. The retreat can also fit you who know some basic technique, but desire a more sensual and embodied rope practice to build a stronger connection with your partner/s. The weekend will be an initiation to the art of tying and being tied in a tantric setting. THE FACILITATOR KAREN SCHOV I am devoted to creating calm, warm spaces where people can feel safe to show up in their full vulnerability and maybe dear to lean into curiosity. Finding that courage inside of you to move out of comfort and expanding the way you experience life. In addition to private sessions, I host workshops, goddess circles and retreats, building community and creating a sense of togetherness. I have been inspired by rope work for about 10 years and have felt deeply the connection it can bring, both to a partner and to the experience of life within my own being. I love the sensation of leaning into the rope wether it is held by me or hands and the rope of another as well as over and over again being mesmerised of the sensation of holding space for others to surrender into my arms and experience new sides of themselves.
