Welcome to a magical evening for both beginners and advanced practitioners of shibari and tantra; of community, devotion and exploration of ropes in the spirit of the temple. PERFORMANCE - Dancing in ropes Start the evening with witnessing an intimate moment of raw connection, where rope becomes a language devotion. This is not a staged performance—no scripts, no choreography—just the unfolding dance of an authentic tying session in real-time. Dancing is one of the corner stones of my personal style of tying. It was not until I allowed myself to start enjoying my rope sessions the same way I enjoy dancing, that I found my power and pleasure in the role of tying. I have invited my friend and rope partner Shima, who also is an incredible dancer, to join me for this evening in the ropes. We will take you on a creative journey of merging art forms. 🔥 WORKSHOP The workshop is a mixture of shibari and tantric practices, connecting to spirit and building trust and depth through the ropes. We will practice very simple technique (beginner friendly), focusing on how to use the ropes to build connection. We will swap partners to meet and practice with different people. 🔥 TEMPLE SPACE The Temple space will start with a guided opening drawing inspiration from rituals of sacred sexuality. The space will then open up for free practice and play. This play space focuses on sensual ropes and not sexual interactions. You will both be safely guided through exercises and supported in creating free interactions where you are invited to practice, play and witness the beauty of connection. * WHO IS THIS FOR? The Temple night welcomes both total beginners and advanced rope practitioners. ✨ We will not go through the basics of technique, but beginners are warmly welcome to join, to have a taste of rope to know if you want to dive deeper into studying Sensual Shibari. ✨ To be in an open play space involves taking care of your own interractions and boundaries, so I advice you to feel into if that is something you are comfortable with. ✨ You can sign up alone, together with a friend or partner. During the workshop we will practice together and change partners, so this night is for you who have an open mind to meet with different people. ✨ If you come with a partner, I would prefer that you are also open to other interactions, to create aliveness in the field. Before the event starts we will check who is comfortable and not being in pictures, and no pictures will be used without consent! 🙏 * ABOUT ME: My name is Molly Maria and I am a passionate artist, therapist and teacher exploring sensuality, emotional health and growth. My work guides individuals and groups on transformative journeys of embodiment and self exploration. The creative and the therapeutic are weaved together in my work. I have been tying since 2016, practicing both more traditional Shibari and finding my own approach. My way of tying is inspired by contact improvisation dance, massage, meditation, bdsm and tantra. There is a stong focus on playful embodiment and pleasure, focusing on presence, sensuality and the deep contact between people, where the rope becomes a tool and a framework to experience one self and others.
